Alice Loughlin – Qualified Speech-Language Therapist

With over 14 years of experience across the health and education sectors in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, Alice brings extensive expertise in paediatric feeding. Since joining Counties Manukau Health in 2016, she has supported young children with diverse needs, including prematurity, cleft palate, and cerebral palsy. Alice also coordinated the Paediatric Videofluoroscopy clinic at Middlemore Hospital.

Upon joining the Kidz First Child Development Service at Counties Manukau Health in 2016 I began my journey specialising in paediatric feeding. During my 8 years in the role, I supported babies and young children with a wide range of diagnoses including: prematurity, Cleft Lip and Palate, Paediatric Feeding Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delay, oro-motor difficulties such as chewing and swallowing concerns (including aspiration). I was also involved in coordinating and running the Paediatric Videofluoroscopy clinic at Middlemore Hospital.
