I am Dr. Nir Fireman, a Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist based in Auckland. Trained as a general paediatrician, I further specialised in paediatric gastroenterology in Israel.

Khang, as he is affectionately known as to his colleagues and patients, is a specialist paediatrician board-certified by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in general paediatrics and paediatric emergency medicine.

Dr Stanley Ng BBMedSc, BHB, MBChB, DCH, FRACP

General Paediatrician

Stanley qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2018 and
then worked as a General Paediatrician and the Clinical Lead of the Neonatal Unit at
Gisborne Hospital until 2024 when he relocated to Hutt Valley Hospital where he works
across General Paediatrics and the Child Development Service.

Clinical Geneticist

Candice is a clinical geneticist and is passionate about caring for people and families who have, or are at risk for, genetic disorders. She completed her undergraduate medical degree in South Africa and then specialised in the field of Medical Genetics though the College of Medical Geneticists of South Africa. She has subsequently also been recognised as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in the Child Health and Paediatric Branch.

Child & Educational Psychologist

Phillippa is a registered Child and Educational Psychologist. Prior to becoming a psychologist Phillippa was a teacher, practicing in Europe and New Zealand. Phillippa has worked in the field of psychology and education for over 25 years. She completed her qualifications in New Zealand attending Auckland, Massey and Waikato Universities.

Dietitian for the last 14 years and have a range of experience working in paediatrics and adults, in community, inpatient and outpatient settings, including Starship Children’s Hospital. My current focus is in paediatrics and working with children who have type 1 and type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance.

With a strong background in psychology and education, Jasmine Kantor is dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to work closely with children, parents, and educators, enhancing her understanding of the diverse challenges students face. Jasmine has substantial experience in Enhanced Learning across both private and public schools, leveraging her expertise to address complex learning needs within the educational environment.

Alice, a qualified Speech-Language Therapist, has over 14 years of experience across health and education sectors in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Since joining Counties Manukau Health in 2016, she has specialised in pediatric feeding, supporting young children with diverse needs including prematurity, cleft palate, and cerebral palsy. She also coordinated the Paediatric Videofluoroscopy clinic at Middlemore Hospital.

With over three years of dedicated service in medical administration, Georgia expertly manages all administrative duties and provides essential support to our team of specialists.
 
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys exploring the arts, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and whānau.
