Dr Ronnie Stein, MD FRACP

Paediatric Endocrinologist

Specialising in a wide array of hormonal issues affecting children from newborns through to older teenagers. Her expertise lies in addressing the complex needs related to growth, metabolism, and sexual development in paediatrics.

Dr Nir Fireman, MD FRACP

Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Endoscopist

I am Dr. Nir Fireman, a Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist based in Auckland. Trained as a general paediatrician, I further specialised in paediatric gastroenterology in Israel.

Dr Annaliesse Blincoe MBChB, FRACP

Specialist in Paediatric Immunology and Allergy

Annaliesse calls upon her broad experience to provide the best patient and family focused care. Annaliesse has gained widespread experience within New Zealand and internationally.

Jake Morton-Jones

Paediatric Dietitian

Jake is a Senior Paediatric Dietitian with extensive experience at Counties Manukau Health and Starship Children’s Hospital. Specialising in nutrition management across medical and surgical wards, including the ICU, Jake is dedicated to improving health outcomes for children and families.

Dr Prerna Sehgal

General Paediatrician

Prerna graduated from University of Otago School of Medicine in 2009 completing her initial
medical training in Dunedin and Invercargill. She began her career in Paediatrics in Starship
Hospital in Auckland and is currently working as a Paediatrician in the public sector for the
paediatric service at Middlemore Hospital Kidzfirst.

Rebecca Bruce, BSc, PGDipDiet

Registered Dietitian

My passion is improving health and wellness through nutrition and giving kids the helping hand they need. I get great satisfaction from being able to change children’s lives for the better through the right nutrition.

Dr Candice Feben-Small FRACP, FCMG (SA)

Clinical Geneticist

Candice is a clinical geneticist and is passionate about caring for people and families who have, or are at risk for, genetic disorders. She completed her undergraduate medical degree in South Africa and then specialised in the field of Medical Genetics though the College of Medical Geneticists of South Africa. She has subsequently also been recognised as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in the Child Health and Paediatric Branch.

Phillippa Walker, DIPT, B.Ed, PGDipSpEd, MEdPsych, PGDipEdPsych

Child & Educational Psychologist

Phillippa is a registered Child and Educational Psychologist. Prior to becoming a psychologist Phillippa was a teacher, practicing in Europe and New Zealand. Phillippa has worked in the field of psychology and education for over 25 years. She completed her qualifications in New Zealand attending Auckland, Massey and Waikato Universities.

Caroline Worth Bsc PGDipDiet

Registered Dietitian

Dietitian for the last 14 years and have a range of experience working in paediatrics and adults, in community, inpatient and outpatient settings, including Starship Children’s Hospital. My current focus is in paediatrics and working with children who have type 1 and type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance.

Janine Kantor - Educational and Learning Support Specialist

Qualifications: BCom (PsychMet), PGDip Hons ClinPsych, MA Edu

With a strong background in psychology and education, Jasmine Kantor is dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to work closely with children, parents, and educators, enhancing her understanding of the diverse challenges students face. Jasmine has substantial experience in Enhanced Learning across both private and public schools, leveraging her expertise to address complex learning needs within the educational environment.

Alice Loughlin

BSLT (University of Canterbury), RMNZSTA

Alice, a qualified Speech-Language Therapist, has over 14 years of experience across health and education sectors in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Since joining Counties Manukau Health in 2016, she has specialised in pediatric feeding, supporting young children with diverse needs including prematurity, cleft palate, and cerebral palsy. She also coordinated the Paediatric Videofluoroscopy clinic at Middlemore Hospital.

Jacki Mayne-Davis

Registered Occupational Therapist, special interest Paediatrics (babies, children and adolescents)

My skills lie in helping children from the early months, up to early adulthood, navigate developmental, motor, sensory and/or social-emotional challenges that impact their daily activities. Whether it’s learning to shower and toilet independently, improve concentration in the classroom, or learn to cope (and thrive) with big emotions, I have a wide range of activities and resources up my sleeve to help you achieve these goals.

Josie Pla- Catucci (joining soon)

Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy with Honours

Josie is a Speech and Language Therapist who graduated with Honours from Massey University in 2022. She has experience working in specialist school settings with children and young adults (ages 5–21), supporting communication and swallowing needs. Josie works with both neurodiverse and neurotypical children, tailoring strategies, implementing AAC systems, and collaborating with families and educators. She values holistic, individualized care and enjoys reading, exercising, travelling, and spending time with loved ones.

Penny Prolton

Administration

Penny has a wide range of experience in administration and reception. Over the last five years she has focussed her attention on the healthcare sector. Penny looks forward to welcoming you to our clinic.

Georgia Fitzwater

Administration Team Leader

Georgia brings a wealth of experience to Tinygiants, having transitioned from a successful career in hotel and management roles to her true passion in patient care. With over three years of dedicated service in medical administration, Georgia expertly manages all administrative duties and provides essential support to our team of specialists.

Outside of work, Georgia enjoys exploring the arts, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and whānau.
