Sitar is a developmental paediatric physiotherapist who supports babies, children and their families from infancy through childhood. She works with infants and young children to build the movement skills they need for play and everyday life, and supports children with a wide range of developmental, neurological, genetic and other complex conditions and needs.
With experience across community, preschool and home-based settings, Sitar collaborates closely with families, teachers and other health professionals so everyone is working together to support the child.

A specialist niche: paediatric pelvic health
Bladder and bowel dysfunction and toileting difficulties in children are common — and treatable. This is a specialised area few physiotherapists offer, and one Sitar is particularly passionate about.

COMMON QUESTIONS
FAQs
Is paediatric pelvic floor physiotherapy really a thing?
Yes — bladder and bowel dysfunction and toileting difficulties are common in children and highly treatable. It’s a specialised area, and one that few physiotherapists offer for children specifically.
Do I need a GP referral to see Sitar?
No — self-referrals are welcome for physiotherapy and sleep consulting. A referral is never required to get started.
Can I book physiotherapy and sleep consulting together?
Absolutely. Many families work with Sitar on both — let us know what’s going on and we’ll help you plan the right sessions.
What ages does Sitar see?
From newborns through school-age children, across community, preschool and home-based settings.
