Our Educational Psychologists and Level C assessors help with understanding how students learn and what might be challenging for them in school. There are several aspects to this work:
- Gathering Information: This can include looking at a student’s educational history, collecting information from teachers and parents, and giving the student tests or quizzes.
- Understanding Learning Styles and Needs: By assessing a student’s strengths and weaknesses, we help figure out the best ways the student learns and what kinds of support they might need.
- Diagnosing Issues: If a student has trouble with learning, assessments can help identify if there are specific learning disabilities (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), or other factors affecting their education.
- Creating Strategies: Based on the assessment, psychologists and assessors can come up with personalised strategies and interventions to help the student succeed in school.
Educational psychology assessment is about figuring out how to support each student to help them learn and achieve to their full potential.
